With 20 years experience in Audiology, in addition to qualifications in Counselling,
I take a broad view of managing Tinnitus, and having Tinnitus myself, I know what it is like.
I believe it can be successfully managed,
but that this often requires a whole-of-life review and a combination of strategies
that target not only the noise itself, but the stress, anxiety and lifestyle factors that drive it.
I offer individual Tinnitus Counselling sessions for people, struggling with Tinnitus, and their families.
I also run Active Tinnitus Management workshops for people wanting to
explore all their options in managing their tinnitus successfully.
What is Tinnitus?
Tinnitus is the name used for the condition where you hear sounds such as ringing, buzzing or roaring when there is no external sound being generated. It is a symptom of some dysfunction in the hearing system, and approximately 95% of the population will experience it at some time in their lives.
