Traditional Flying Stars Feng Shui

The Flying Star School of Feng Shui is a technique for analysing the Chi map of a building as it sits in time and space. One could call it a "Natal Chart" for the house in a similar way that an Astrology reading analyses the influences present in the universe at person's time and place of birth. A Flying Star Feng Shui analysis uses a detailed, scale plan of a house, its precise orientation in space (the compass degree that it faces) and its age to create the Chi map of the building. At its simplest level, this indicates the areas in the house that hold Chi that is supportive or destructive to the occupants. Yearly, monthly and even daily influences can also be analysed as Chi continues to flow in and around the environment. Once the Chi map has been analysed, areas that contain beneficial or supportive Chi can be enhanced and areas that contain negative or destructive chi can be improved. These improvements are achieved through the balancing and harmonising of the 5 elemental phases of Chi, using the colour, shape and nature of theses aspects of Chi.

Flying Stars Consultations

For your consultation, we will need a detailed and scale map of the building and its surrounds, the year of its construction or completion and any major structural renovations. We will also need to determine the direction the building faces. With this information, a Chi map of the house, as it sits in time and space, can be determined and recommendations for enhancing and/or improving the Chi of the building can be developed. Implementing these improvements may involve changes in use for certain rooms (i.e. moving bedrooms), redecorating colour schemes and/or furnishings and the placement of water features, pools, ponds, garden beds and garden structures (i.e. "mountains"). Unfortunately, sometimes a building will have outlived its energy (energetically, buildings are born, age and die just like people) and the primary recommendation may be that it is not compatible with its current occupants and your best action is to move.
Specific remedies, such as a Wu Lou or Golden Calabash gourd may be recommended for some Qi imbalances.

The aim of a Feng Shui consultation
is to provide the occupants of a building with the knowledge and understanding of its inherent energy,
so they can then create a harmonious and supportive environment in which to live.

Elemental Art

In addition to the Wu Lou or Golden Calabash gourds, individually designed art works can be commissioned to enhance the energetic balance of your home. I can create sculptural works with a specific energetic intent, using images, colour, crystals and kanji. I can also create paintings that represent the energy of the five elements (fire, earth, metal, water and wood) which can be used to meet the specific energetic requirements of your home.

Qi Activation Ceremonies

Another method of enhancing he energy of your home or business is by performing a Qi activation ceremony.
Activating the active Yang Qi of your business may improve it's prosperity and abundance.
Activating the passive Yin Qi of your home may improve relationships, aid healing and can be used to enhance the energy needed to attract a partner.
There are optimal times each year to perform Yang and Yin Qi activations, depending on the facing direction of the building.
